I saw a flicker of love cross your face
I smiled cause you have innocence that still remains
nothing blocked the way that you felt
cause for the first time in a long time, you knew it well
that ray of joy that surpassed your hate
soon swallowed by what hit you, far too late
then it suddenly flashed from your face
if I could I would cherish the image, till my dieing day
If you were a star you'd have shined brilliantly
don't you know that you could be all you could be
if you'd just breathe
ignore what people have to say
and enjoy the beauty of the light of day
adore all you have before its gone
don't let people stop you, from carrying on
